The Challenge

Located just 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport, The Wave Hotel serves as the centerpiece of Lake Nona. Surrounded by residences, townhomes, and retail spaces, the hotel was designed to reflect the community’s modern vision while offering guests an exceptional stay defined by comfort and convenience.

Mode:Green was brought on to deliver a fully integrated lighting and room control solution for all 252 guest rooms. The challenge was to design a system that offered both high-end functionality and simplicity while blending seamlessly with the hotel’s stylish, lively, and modern aesthetic.

The Solution

The Wave Hotel’s guest rooms feature fully integrated controls for lighting, shading, HVAC, and automation all centered around Lutron’s MyRoom. Thermostats and motorized drapery systems were implemented to ensure personalized comfort and effortless control in every space. Each room is equipped with intuitive interfaces that allow guests to easily manage lighting and shading scenes while maintaining the sleek, modern design of the interiors.
