AVIXA Panels Highlight Hospitality Technology Growth

New York, NY – May 11, 2018 – Throughout May and June, panels and presentations will be given at AVIXA and InfoComm to discuss integration strategies for hospitality audio and video and automation, and the impact of these technologies in the market.

Discussions of this technology design and implementation have accelerated in the industry, as demand by guests for technology in hotels continues to rise. According to a study by the University of Delaware, “hotel guest technologies should be of a higher standard than home, for guests to be satisfied. This relationship [is] robust across all hotel types, and both leisure and business visitation.” This focus on technology has become particularly heightened in the luxury hospitality market, where both Forbes Travel Guide and AAA have added technology to their inspection processes. Hospitality integration firm Mode:Green was recently named the first Technology Integration Official Brand Partner of Forbes Travel Guide, based on its expertise in technology for the luxury hospitality market.

“The interest in immersive AV and automation experiences has spiked in the last few months, because hotels and commercial venues are starting to see the necessity of adding technology to their spaces to support their brand, customer experience, and operations,” said Mode:Green President Bill Lally

Lally will present in a series of AVIXA speaking sessions; at the AVIXA International Hotel Technology Forum on May 16 in Mallorca, Spain on the “Audiovisual Experiences in Hotel Design” panel with AVIXA CEO David Labuskes and Darrin Hubbard to discuss how immersive audiovisual and control technology can deliver value to the brand, customers, and business.

At AVIXA Integrated Life Day by Parks Associates on June 5, Lally will speak on the panel “Changing Consumer Habits and the Effect on Technology Experiences in Hospitality and Entertainment.” Then, at InfoComm in Las Vegas, Lally will give two presentations: “Creating Interactive AV Experiences on a Large Scale” in a solo session on June 6; he will present a center stage session, “How Hospitality Brands Use VR and Interactive Video to Engage Guests,” on June 8.
